TopBathGlobal – A One-Stop Provider of Bathroom Sourcing Solutions

When sourcing freestanding bathtubs for your next project or retail batch, the material choice is the single most important decision you will make. It dictates the landed cost, the weight (and thus shipping and installation logistics), the durability, and ultimately, the end-user experience.

At TOPBATH, our Foshan factory produces both, and we supply them globally for hotel projects and wholesale distribution. In this guide, we break down the two most popular options: Stone Resin and Acrylic.

1. Stone Resin Bathtubs (Solid Surface)

Stone resin is a composite material made from a blend of natural stone powder (like aluminum hydroxide) and a specialized resin. It is poured into a mold, creating a solid, heavy piece.

2. Acrylic Bathtubs

Acrylic tubs are typically made by vacuum-forming sheets of acrylic over a fiberglass-reinforced backing. It is the industry standard for mass-market bathrooms.
